... Um. I was considering getting my rant on re: Glee 2x09 (the only catch-up watching I have done this weekend, woe!), but I think that was sufficient irritation for today.

In happier/fannish news, such_heights has started an impromptu happy fanathon! Babble about whatever shiny things you like- thus far, there is Merlin (as in lots of Morgana/Gwen!), Narnia, and *cough* my rather slapdash Saving Face picspam. \o/!

ETA: OH AND. AO3: shiny! :D Somebody keep me off it until I manage to finish writing? *g*

My uncle died yesterday - he had a heart attack and wouldn't let anyone call 911. I don't feel majorly sad or anything because we were never close and that branch of the family hasn't been hugely in touch with us for a while. I haven't even seen most of his kids since maybe 2006. Still, I feel bad that when he died he and my aunt were adding on to their cabin to retire there and that he'll never see the baby his oldest son's wife is pregnant with.

In other news, the Jewish people in the apartment next to mine moved out. I refer to them as "the Jewish people" because I never met them and only know that they had a mezuzah by their door. The new people, who I have seen once, have started playing some kind of radio or TV all night. It's not majorly loud, but I can hear it from my bedroom and I had to write them a note and slip it under their door. I know they played it all night because I woke up at four in the morning for other reasons and the damn thing was still playing. Is this the behavior of sane persons?

Okay, so J-pop had announced they're going to reprint 'X' in Italy.
Why anyone out of Italy should care about this?
Apparently J-pop had been assured by Kadokawa and CLAMP's manager the series will be finished soon, or at least in time not to force J-pop to pause while printing it (which would mean, according to the tentative schedule given, that they need the new volumes ready for 2012... end of the world anyone? -_-).

Now, although this is a great new, I would like to know if someone can confirm J-pop's declaration about CLAMP being finally ready to end 'X'.
So, does anyone know something?

And I couldn't believe it!
As soon as I entered she said "I must start saying I'm very satisfied with your work, I liked the way you researched, I liked all the references and everything I think this is the best thesis of all the ones I'm presenting this time."

And at this point I think my smile reached my ears XDDDDDD
She said she will ask for the maximum, there are few things to fix but my greatest fear was her opinion, I wanted to do something that she would have liked (because she is my fave prof and I wanted for her to like me^^;)
I'm so glad now...I'm really really glad!!!

Now, sadly on the job hunting I'm still in a deep s**t, nothing available for me, there is no help even looking at the companies that have basis both here and in Japan, I've been told they send overseas only employers already with them and not newbies...

But for today, just for today, let me bask in the happiness of knowing that my thesis is the best thesis the prof had for this session...just for today I can tell myself "otsukaresama"!
